Friends seem to say that I can kill even the greatest of forums just by my presence. I hope this isn't what happened here.

Ah. Well, good to know my rep. didn't follow me here and deal a cruel strike. Though, I got walloped again by electricity. Stuck my fingers where I shouldn't have on a circuit (thank god it was low amp), and got hit by the triggering of an SCR. Normally not so bad, but when the humidity's around 115%, well, it's bad.

Well, when you spend 80% of your time messing with it, sometimes it messes back. Though there are advantages: I've been told by a doctor that from the amount of volts and amps I've put through myself, it'll take more than 110 volts or 5 amps to kill me. Not the greatest thing in the world (I'm hoping to accumulate 20 amps so that 110 won't harm me, but that's unlikely with the attempts not to get shocked), but it could be useful.

That and I found out that a simple wiring mistake destroyed 2 of my 555 timers. Lesson learned: don't link them together!

Also learned that stacking chips allows for more amp-draw...
